Many graduates of the programme progress to PhD study, others to different aspects in bioscience-related research and a diverse array of graduate level occupations. This course requires a solid foundation in the molecular and cellular basis of life (e. g. knowledge of cell structure, function of proteins and organelles, DNA replication and gene expression).
