What will I learn?

This course will help you develop your foundation year or Higher National Diploma into a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Systems. Lectures and seminars are complemented by hands-on work experience provided by our in-house agency.You’ll have the opportunity to study in our state-of-the-art computer labs, including some of the most advanced Cisco labs in London. Here you’ll develop your knowledge of everything from e-commerce to database management and learn both the practical skills required for a career in computer networks and the ethical, social, legal and professional issues related to the industry.You’ll explore topics relevant in your field today, such as cloud security, advanced Structured Query Language (SQL), content management systems and how to identify, analyse and thwart hacking attempts. Our teaching staff have strong connections with the industry and review the course content every year to ensure you’re kept up-to-date with the latest information and practices.

Entry requirements

For international students

you should have: 240 credits from a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a foundation degree (FdSc) in Computing, IT or Business Information Technology Applicants with relevant professional qualifications or extensive professional experience will also be considered on a case by case basis. To study a degree at London Met, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. If you require a Tier 4 student visa you may need to provide the results of a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS Academic IELTS Overall score required: 6.0 Component scores required: Listening: 5.5 Reading: 5.5 Writing: 5.5 Speaking: 5.5 Test of English as a Foreign Language - Internet Based Test (TOEFL iBT) Overall score required: 72 Component scores required: Listening: 17 Reading: 18 Writing: 17 Speaking: 20
