What will I learn?

The Masters in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry will extend the depth and breadth of your knowledge in all branches of chemistry and with some specialisation in medicinal chemistry, this programme will be suited to the role of a professional chemist capable of conducting research.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students must hold Bachelor’s degree (GPA: 3.0+) from an accredited university or college in a relevant subject. Normally a 2.1 or 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject will be accepted. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual postgraduate degree programmes.

For international students

Normally at least a 2.1 Honours degree in chemistry (or equivalent). Please note BSc and MSci Chemistry and BSc and MSci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry graduates from the University of Glasgow should not apply for this programme. IELTS: 6.5 with no subtests under 6.0 and TOEFL (ibt, my best or athome): 90 with minimum R 20, L 19, S 19, W 23.
