These skills will be developed through a hands-on, project-based learning approach, guided by our industry partners.Our strong connections with the construction industry will help you develop essential technical and professional skills by working on real projects, giving you a head start in the job market.Throughout the course, you'll build your knowledge step-by-step, studying core civil and construction topics like structural mechanics, hydraulics, geotechnics, materials, and construction management. You'll also tackle emerging challenges to improve humanity and the environment.Our curriculum is research-informed and delivered by experts who are working on cutting-edge projects. This means you'll be well-prepared for the workplace. The programme aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on affordable and clean energy, industry innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, and climate action.In your first year, you'll take core civil and construction engineering modules, along with modules common to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and computer engineering programmes. This broadens your understanding of the engineering profession and helps you develop technology integration skills through multi-disciplinary projects.In the second year, you'll build on the knowledge and skills from the first year by taking essential core modules. By the third year, you'll apply what you've learned to real projects. Design elements are integrated throughout the programme, ensuring you gain practical experience at every stage.The course is supported by guest experts from the industry and site visits.
