What will I learn?

This course is designed to provide a route to professional and management careers within the industry. **ALIGNED WITH INDUSTRY**Students will gain both a practical and theoretical understanding of the scientific, mathematical and design principles within Civil Engineering.Courses are delivered by tutors with a range of specialist expertise from Chartered Engineering to Quantity Surveying, legal experts and site engineers from leading companies including Balfour Beatty, Mott McDonald and Highways England.**INDUSTRY STANDARD FACILITIES**Study in brand new industry standard facilities at the Centre for Advanced Technical Studies.£118,000 investment in new surveying equipment, including a robotic station, 3D laser scanner and GPS surveyor equipment.**EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM**As part of the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology (GMIoT) we have access to a partner employer network exposing students to more employers through guest speakers, visits and competitions to enhance their employability opportunities.This course is also available as a part-time option to fit in around your work or family commitments, with part-time day and evening options available and a September or January start.
