What will I learn?

This practical degree will prepare you to shape the world's future by combining an excellent foundation in all aspects of Civil Engineering with the hands-on experience that employers are looking for.You'll study key topics including structural engineering, design, construction, geotechnics, hydraulics, and building information modelling (BIM), with an emphasis on their real-world applications.That means we treat you like a trainee engineer from day one, providing access to industry-standard technology on campus – including state-of-the-art labs for materials testing, fluid dynamics, 3D printing, robotics and more – plus the chance to forge industry connections with leading firms. It’s designed to boost your academic skills and knowledge of your specialist area.
