What will I learn?

This accredited degree in computer engineering will give you the knowledge and skills needed to become a professional engineer. Our BEng Computer Engineering offers the chance to create applications for robots, embedded and real-time systems, and other innovative information and communications technology. You'll learn about theoretical programming and gain practical experience in developing applications for computing platforms and hardware. This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council. Entry requirements

For international students

Typical Offer: 112 Points Qualifications: three A-levels/Extended Diploma/combination of A-level and Diploma/A-levels/T-levels and Extended Certificate. And must include one of the following: A level: 32 Points from mathematics and a physical science or a numerate subject. BTEC National: Extended Diploma in Engineering, requiring Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems (Unit 7) and Further Engineering Mathematics (Unit 8), both at Pass or a related subject/unit. A level and BTEC National: Diploma/Extended Certificate in Engineering and 32 Points from A level mathematics if Units 7 and/or 8 are not included. A level and BTEC National: Diploma/Extended Certificate in Applied Science and 32 Points from A level mathematics. International Baccalaureate: requiring Higher Level Maths grade 5, Higher Level Physics grade 5 and Standard Level English grade 4. Access to Higher Education Diploma: Engineering/Engineering Science. Plus GCSEs in English language and mathematics at grade 4 or above (grade C or above under the A*-G system), and one GCSE science subject at Grade C or above under the A*-G system. We also accept equivalent qualifications at Level 2, such as Functional Skills in Mathematics and English. We will also consider: AS-levels along with A2-levels. Alternative qualifications at Level 3, such as OCR Cambridge Technicals, AQA Tech-level, and Access to Engineering. Appropriate qualifications such as an HNC, HND or Foundation Degree, with which you may be able to enter this degree in Year 2. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
