What will I learn?

This contemporary TV production course in London will prepare you for a broad range of careers in television, broadcast and video production, giving you a hands-on education across all areas of television production. You will gain experience of producing your own television shows using industry-standard facilities. You will work on a range of TV genres including drama, documentary, entertainment and factual – both in the studio and on location.You will learn to broadcast live and create multi-platform television content that embraces emerging technologies. You will develop TV formats, write scripts, pitch to commissioning editors and present ideas to clients in response to live briefs. The digital television production degree is led by production and broadcast experts and taught through a mix of practical and theory-based learning. You will develop a varied skillset that covers all areas of television production and the wider broadcast media. You will be taught through a blend of practice and theory-based learning, which includes lectures, workshops, seminars, projects and self-directed study.

Entry requirements

For international students

At Ravensbourne we accept a wide range of qualifications for entry onto our courses, whilst also considering the context in which they were achieved. For this course, we would usually require a GCSE Grade 4 or above in English in addition to any of the below;

  • Three A Levels at grade CCC or above
  • BTEC Extended Diploma at grade MMM
  • UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
  • T Level (pass or above)
  • Access to Higher Education Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate at grade 24 or above
  • Other/Mixed qualifications equivalent to 96 UCAS Tariff points
