What will I learn?

Environmental Geologists are at the forefront of research into some of the most significant threats facing humankind, from natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanoes to manmade issues such as climate change, pollution and resource depletion.The BSc Environmental Geology is a highly practical programme that examines the extent and effects of human interaction with the environment, as well as the geological processes that have an impact on the wider world around us. including a Science subjectWhere an applicant is taking the EPQ alongside A-levels, the EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in lower A-level grades being required. Socio-economics factors which may have impacted an applicant's education will be taken into consideration and alternative offers may be made to these applicants.Acceptable Science subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Chemistry, Geography, Biology.
