The focus on Esports promotes opportunities for students to gain the necessary skills to participate in, promote and run Esports events.Esports is an international sporting phenomenon within the global and digital marketplace, in 2021 the community had more than 3.24 billion video gamers across the globe.Gaming as an overall demographic has a very large audience with the 14-25 age range, with a lot of young people aspiring for careers within the industry. Either as professional Esports athletes or within other roles such as event organising, coaching, video production and supporting roles.
