What will I learn?

Games and VR is a specialist pathway of the BSc in Immersive Systems Design. The programme provides graduates with a highly relevant skill set in practical software and immersive systems (Augmented and Virtual Reality) development, an understanding of how people and technology interact, combined with the creative insight essential to help create the future in immersive systems. This is a technology focused degree with a strong art-school foundation, combining rigorous taught components with studio based learning and critical thinking.

Entry requirements

For international students

Scottish Highers: ABBB including a literate subject* • A Levels: ABB, plus GCSE English Language at grade A or 7. • International Baccalaureate (IB): 30 points overall in the Diploma, including 18 at Higher Level, normally including English and Visual Arts or Design Technology. Students not presenting English at grade 5 or above at Higher Level will be required to submit an IELTS. • Irish Leaving Certificate: Four Highers at H2 or above - subjects required as per Scottish Highers. IELTS (IELTS for UKVI ) - 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component TOEFL (IBT) and TOEFL IBT at home - 72-79 overall, with the following minimum scores in each component:Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 19
