What will I learn?

Embark on a fulfilling career within hospitality, gaining essential skills and knowledge to lead to exciting employment pathways locally, nationally and internationally. Hospitality management can lead to a wide and diverse range of opportunities such as food and beverage operations, culinary arts and front office operations in a wide range of settings. This course provides an insight into hospitality operations, develops core skills for a range of careers in hospitality, and develops knowledge that students need to achieve high performance in the hospitality environment.Embrace the opportunity to implement theory-based classroom learning with events and functions being held within the restaurant and department. Modules such as The Hospitality Business Toolkit and Leadership and Management for Hospitality will be based and implemented within the practical environments, allowing students to see theory put into practice within the fully operational commercial restaurant at the College. You will have directed and structured input from the experienced food and visitor economy team, and opportunities to engage directly with customers and consumers within a commercial setting.
