What will I learn?

Position yourself as a leader in international finance at the University of Glasgow. Tailored for the dynamic international marketplace and ranked among the top 100 programmes worldwide by the QS and FT, the MFin will empower you to apply financial theory to address the latest challenges faced by global organisations in complex and rapidly changing economies.Sharpen your critical thinking to address key financial issues for international organisations, while building a versatile skill set for analysing capital markets, understanding diverse financial products, and evaluating complex financial decisions. Customise your learning journey and specialise in advanced areas with diverse elective options, from Climate Finance and ESG Investments to Data Science and Machine Learning.Led by Dr Hormoz Ramian, you will learn from expert academics, recognised for producing world-class research across corporate finance, quantitative finance, asset pricing and behavioural finance. Access cutting-edge resources used by industry leaders, including Bloomberg terminals, statistical software systems and an extensive collection of financial data sources and engines such as S&P, Fitch, Bureau van Dijk and Moody’s.You will take three core and three optional courses and undertake a substantial independent piece of work, normally in the form of a dissertation, on a finance-related theme.

2.1 honours degree or non-UK equivalent in any subject, with at least one quantitative course such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or Econometrics
