What will I learn?

The International Foundation Year in Health & Human Sciences will prepare you for a range of degrees in fields related to health, such as physiotherapy, sports science, podiatry and pharmaceutical science. It can also prepare you for studying degrees in behavioural sciences, such as psychology, sociology and criminology.You will study core modules, which are general skills subjects, and specialised modules tailored to your chosen area of study - all of which are important for your academic development.Why study Human Science and Humanities at Huddersfield? University of Huddersfield psychology students have the opportunity to enhance their studies through specialist equipment in the psychology labs. If you decide to study English Literature, you can get involved in the award-winning Huddersfield Literature Festival, an international literature event that attracts some of the biggest and best writers worldwide. Various research centres are right at the University, including Applied Criminology and Policing Centre, Just Futures Research Centre for Applied Childhood, Youth and Family research, Secure Societies Institute to develop a secure society for all.

Entry requirements

For international students

Academic: Good high school graduation grades or equivalent; Age on entry: 17+ (students must turn 18 years old before commencing undergraduate study at the University of Huddersfield)
