What will I learn?

In this programme, you will explore contemporary national, global, human and environmental security issues with attention to the politics involved in deciding and challenging who or what is prioritised. There'll be opportunities to learn from specialists on a range of issues from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, to peace-building in postwar societies, to contemporary issues in human rights.We’ll encourage and help you to follow your political, social, and voluntary interests, as these will form a large part of your independent study. By the end of the programme, you'll develop the skills and knowledge to follow in the footsteps of our previous graduates - working in government, communications or intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations (IGOs and NGOs).
