Studying Law with Politics gives you the chance to learn the ropes of a legal career alongside enhancing your political knowledge. You’ll develop your understanding of political theory and science, broadening your insight into the law and how it functions under various political systems. Our strong links to Westminster and industry connections in both law and politics mean you’ll be well-placed to pursue careers in either field. Turn theory into practice with real-life, hands-on experience in our Legal Advice Centre and Mediation Centre. You will be making a difference, helping actual clients with real issues, whether it be divorce, child contact or supporting with benefit appeals. The political element of the course naturally leads to careers within the sphere of politics, either at home or abroad, such as local government, political research or the media. Others choose careers in other sectors entirely, such as financial or education, due to the highly sought after and transferable skills and knowledge they’ve gained.
