About this course

What will I learn?

Tackle local, global, societal and environmental issues creatively and ethically – advancing your specialist design and research practice in a collaborative environment. Our MA Design programme offers specialisations in product, interaction, fashion, graphics, health, illustration, interior, packaging and performance sports. It’s a studio-based, research and practice-oriented programme – designed to develop your design skills in a challenging and supportive environment. You’ll use design to respond to global challenges such as the climate crisis, gender inequality and an ageing population.

Entry requirements

For international students

Normally you need a 2.2 degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject or significant relevant experience, appropriate study plans, including an indication of possible project topics and clear, appropriate and realistic learning aims, a high level of creative ability, as evidenced by a portfolio of work, ability to discuss design issues critically and confidently.
