What will I learn?

Our MA Western Marxism course will give you important subject knowledge in Western Marxism as well as wider research skills. You will study at a world-leading centre for Western Marxism, with modules focused on the Frankfurt School, Phenomenology and Existentialism, Aesthetics, Feminism, and Western Marxist critiques of capitalism.Western Marxist texts and authors have been recognised as of great importance within socialist academic systems and wider political contexts. Entry requirements

For international students

A 2:2 degree or international equivalent in one of the following subjects: Archaeology, Anthropology, Art History, Foreign Languages (must include an essay-writing component)History, Law, Literature (must include at least one module in Philosophy or Marxism), Marxism, Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, We will also consider applicants with any other 2:2 degree or above.
