What will I learn?

Our BSc in Mathematics provides a rigorous foundation in advanced mathematical theory and its applications. You will develop a well-rounded knowledge of key subdisciplines while having the flexibility to specialise in areas that interest you. The course equips you with a highly sought-after skillset, enabling you to apply creative and deductive thinking to a range of exciting careers, including in emerging technologies such as big data and AI.In your first and second years, you'll cover core subjects like calculus, algebra, probability and statistics. From your second year onwards, you can choose to specialise in specific areas or explore a broad range of subjects. Our third-year options are extensive, ranging from pure mathematics to financial mathematics, and from statistics to theoretical physics.
