You’ll plan, build and test prototypes in response to a range of stimulating briefs. And you can build on your knowledge and skills with our range of extracurricular options. Like all our Engineering courses, Mechanical Engineering shares a common first year, which means you can choose to switch to a different pathway in your second year. On our five-year Integrated Masters (MEng) with Placement Year option, you study a year at postgraduate level and spend a year in industry gaining real-world experience on top of your degree.The Humber is home to over 350 engineering companies, so you’ll be in a prime spot to access a range of placements. And by studying a Masters, you'll further extend the depth and breadth of your knowledge and earn an MEng qualification.
