What will I learn?

This postgraduate degree will provide you with advanced training in research methods in human cognitive neuroscience, equipping you with the research and professional skills required for a research career. The School of Psychology and Vision Sciences has particular research strengths in: Cognitive and behavioural sciences Perception and sensory processing Health and psychological wellbeing, including ageing You will be encouraged to undertake a research project in one of these areas. All teaching is seminar based, or in one-to-one tutorial and research supervision sessions, with continuous assessment in the form of a research protocol, oral and poster presentations, and in the development of portfolios of assessed activities. You will write a thesis on original empirical research, which will involve an oral exam (viva).
