Why study Building Surveying?


Building Surveying encompasses a wide range of activities related to design, construction and property management. Whilst emphasis is often on existing buildings, building surveyors are involved in all aspects of buildings, from conception, feasibility, design and construction to their strategic and tactical management, repair refurbishment, conversion and conservation.

Where can it take me?


This innovative MSc Building Surveying is designed for graduates looking to change career and qualify as a Chartered Building Surveyor and/or Chartered Building Engineer. This course is fully accredited as a postgraduate route to Chartered Building Surveyor and/or Chartered Building Engineer status.



Many of our graduates move straight into employment, while others use their new skills to progress in their current roles or step into management positions with their current employer.



You can choose to study this course on a full-time or part-time basis, giving you flexibility to study around your work and other commitments. Both study routes are highly valued by employers, and our employability record is excellent.
