What will I learn?

The Master of Science (MSc) course in Oral Surgery – Full time is perfect for dentists keen to develop their surgical abilities in areas such as bone and soft tissue surgery. It will equip you with the skills and knowledge to perform advanced oral surgery procedures competently.The course aims to develop your knowledge and competencies in the diagnosis and management of oral and facial pathologies, simple and advanced surgical exodontia, soft tissue surgery, excision of lesions, oral implantology, bone grafting and endodontic surgery.Taught by renowned academics and experts in the field, you will learn how to use advanced technologies through a range of innovative methods. You will be exposed to an intensive mix of lectures, seminars and practical workshops using piezo-electric techniques, as well as other contemporary ways of managing oral surgery cases.

Entry requirements

For international students

Undergraduate Degree in Dentistry, and

Letter of good standing or equivalent from an appropriate regulatory dental body, and

Applicants will need to demonstrate evidence of professional indemnity cover (only applicable for GDC registered students undertaking clinical practice at COMD)

Minimum of one year work experience after undergraduate degree.
