MSc Forensic Accounting and Auditing

What will I learn?

The MSc in Forensic Accounting and Auditing is designed to cultivate advanced expertise in the detection, investigation, and prevention of financial fraud, misconduct, and irregularities within both public and private sector organisations to ultimately produce highly skilled forensic accountants and auditors capable of safeguarding organisational assets and upholding the public interest.

The programme will develop your analytical and evaluative skills by integrating forensic accounting techniques with auditing standards, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations. You'll gain a deep understanding of financial crime typologies, digital forensics, litigation support, and corporate governance, enabling graduates to critically assess financial data and internal controls in complex and high-stakes environments.

Through a combination of theoretical instruction, case-based learning, and practical simulations, you will gain the competencies required to conduct forensic investigations, prepare expert reports, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders including regulators, law enforcement, and legal professionals.

The programme also fosters a strong ethical mindset and professional integrity, preparing graduates to contribute to transparency, accountability, and trust in financial reporting and assurance services.
