What will I learn?

The MSc in Investment and Wealth Management course is designed to prepare recent graduates for careers in investment, private equity and asset management. During the programme, you have access to two bespoke computer labs and systems including Bloomberg terminals, Reuters Eikon, Datastream, and Matlab. Taught by leading practitioners and faculty, this diverse Master’s enables you to tailor your learning to your interests and career goals.

Before the programme begins you are expected to complete a number of online pre-study modules. These are designed to give you a basic knowledge of areas which will be covered by the programme throughout the academic year. We are among a handful of business schools worldwide to achieve triple accreditation: Association of MBAs (AMBA); Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). Our graduates have gone on to pursue roles with a wide range of employers including Barclays Investment Bank, KPMG and London Stock Exchange Group.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree. The minimum requirement is based on the university's selectivity ranking; from the most competitive we look for a minimum cumulative GPA of 3/4 to 3.25/4 or better. From other mainstream universities we look for a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4 or better. Departments may require a higher grade from particular institutions.

For international students

Students need to have a minimum requirement is a 2.1 degree in a quantitative subject. They are also required to have a well-researched career plan with clear short and long term goals. All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the College. Higher IELTS 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements) and Students should have TOEFL scores 100 overall (minimum 22 in all elements).
