What will I learn?

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting at Aberystwyth University is a three-year full-time programme which gives you the platform to conduct original academic research that makes a new contribution to your specific field of study. You can make new discoveries, test new theories and push the boundaries of current knowledge and understanding. Your research will be guided by a supervisory team, who will help you refine your research proposal, and guide you in data collection and analysis. At the end of your studies, you will have a viva voce exam (a verbal defence of your thesis).
