What will I learn?

The MSc in Project Management aims to provide you with robust training, covering project management fundamentals, models, tools and techniques, while incorporating essential elements of data analytics and big data systems, enabling you to become a well-rounded project manager.Our programme goes beyond theoretical knowledge. With active involvement from industry and business specialists, we emphasise practical skills, real-world scenarios, and hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to engage with professionals, participate in workshops, tackle project-specific challenges, and pick up additional industry specific qualifications. This immersive approach ensures that upon graduation you are job-ready and adaptable.Industry collaboration will be an essential ingredient of this programme. We will be establishing close links with the manufacturing, engineering, aerospace and construction sectors, and will encourage opportunities for experts in the field to deliver guest lectures. This will enable you to gain vital industry insights and learning first-hand from expert practitioners.We will also actively facilitate networking events and site visits. More importantly, the group projects, that serve as the single largest component of the course, will be provided by industry, and the students on this programme, working as a team, will have opportunities to interact with industry, build relationships, and explore possible careers in the sector.By the time you complete the programme, you will have mastered handling projects from inception, planning, risk management and budgeting, right through to time management in delivery, project execution, and monitoring and evaluation, covering the full spectrum of project management.
