The Six-Year MD Track (MD Track 6) at St. George’s University is suitable for students who have completed their high school education and performed well in science subjects. The first two years focus on preclinical studies, followed by a year of Basic Sciences, which can be completed in the UK or Grenada. Students then continue with Basic Sciences at SGU’s Grenada campus. Up to two years of clinical rotations can be done in the US or UK-depending on visa policies-with additional elective options in Canada. The MD is awarded upon completion of the program.
By entering SGU’s MD Track 6, you may be eligible to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) on your way to completing your Doctor of Medicine.
