At CSVPA, you’ll study in a professional creative environment with expert tutor support, specialist studios and access to the materials and industry-standard equipment you need to develop your creative practice. Our students regularly progress to some of the world’s top Art & Design universities, opening doors to exciting creative careers and opportunities. Through hands-on learning, high levels of tutor contact, small class sizes and personalised guidance, you’ll be challenged and supported to achieve your full creative potential. In the first term you will undertake a variety of collaborative projects designed to broaden your skills, explore new techniques and develop versatility. In the second term, you will apply the skills gained in your first term to a number of projects and live briefs from within your chosen pathway as you develop your critical and contextual skills and prepare for university applications. In the third term, you will consolidate your practice through an agreed proposal and self-directed project, demonstrating your individual creative style. You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and work on exciting external projects that bring your ideas into the real world and provide valuable experience of working across disciplines in a professional creative environment. Recent collaborations have included exhibitions with renowned Cambridge institutions such as the The Fitzwilliam Museum, Museum of Zoology, and Whipple Museum of the History of Science.
