What will I learn?

Our distance-learning UK, EU & US Copyright Law course will introduce you to the key principles of copyright law in several jurisdictions. These key principles relate to the requirements for copyright protection, ownership of copyright, economic rights and moral rights, and infringement of copyright. UK copyright law is examined in depth and this is compared and contrasted with US copyright law, French and German authors’ rights law and EU copyright law. The MA year is distance learning. You will undertake a research project based on the teaching and learning completed in your PGDip course.

A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelors (honours) degree. If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
