What will I learn?

This Master’s in Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering combines solid waste management, and contaminated land treatment with management of the earth's resources.

This MSc course is designed for graduates from a wide range of environmental engineering backgrounds who want to apply new sustainable strategies to increasingly complex problems. We cover the technical aspects of natural and engineering environmental systems.

Our broad approach combines science, public health and engineering. You'll develop your engineering skills and learn to design, develop and apply concepts for water and waste, considering environmental sensitivity. You will also consider planning, modelling, design, construction, operation, maintenance and control of engineered and natural water and earth resources.

Students of our MSc Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering gain the skills for career progression in areas such as desalination and water reuse, water resource engineering, hydraulics, hydrology, and environmental remediation.

For many students, applying to university can be a difficult and daunting decision. Financial barriers can limit student potential. We are grateful to the Mister Gees Foundation, who are sponsoring a
