An accountancy degree will prepare you with a solid foundation of the financial knowledge and regulations to pursue a variety of careers paths. You can continue with the master’s program and become a certified public accountant (CPA), or this program can prepare you for careers in finance, corporate management, government, or even entrepreneurship. Our accounting program has high rates of job and internship placement for our students. We are the nation’s only five-time winner of the Institute for Management Accountants Student Case Competition and the only university to have two teams place nationally in the same year. We also provide opportunities just for our accounting majors, such as the John Talbott Accounting Leadership Program, job fairs with local employers, the Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society, the accounting club, and much more.
