With 5,000 plus students, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts is the largest comprehensive design and arts school in the USA. In the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in art with a concentration in photography, students gain a foundation of skills and knowledge that draws connections between traditional methods and emerging art practices. Photography students develop the ability to think critically and communicate through their art. Students learn a wide variety of approaches to advancing ideas and discourses, including alternative processes, documentary, landscape and portraiture.
