What will I learn?

This pathway meets AAS-T Electronics Engineering Technology degree requirements. The pathway prepares students for admission to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program in Electronics Engineering Technology at Central Washington University (CWU) as well as for the workplace. Students in this pathway meet the minimum requirements for employment as an electronic technician, engineering aide, or failure analysis technician and is popular with employers because graduates are skilled in practical engineering applications. Learn to repair, maintain, analyze and troubleshoot electronic systems using standard laboratory equipment and simulation software.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students who will still be underage (16 or 17) by the start of classes must provide original and English-translated copies of their high school transcripts or a copy of their high school diploma. U.S. high school graduation with GPA of at least 2.0. Completion of both primary and secondary education in Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Canada (English-speaking provinces), Ghana, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. Completion of English Composition at an accredited post-secondary institution in Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Botswana, Canada (English-speaking provinces), Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. Completion of SCIE's College Bridge Level 5. SAT - 510 in Reading and Writing. ACT - 19 for both English and Reading. AP - English Language & Composition with a score of 3 or higher. AP - English Literature & Composition with a score of 3 or higher. IB - English Literature A with a score of 4 or higher (HL). IB - English A Language & Literature with a score of 4 or higher (HL).
