What will I learn?

The degree program enables students to acquire a foundation in the basics of accounting, management, marketing, business communication, business law and finance. learn to apply diverse skills such as critical thinking, organization, problem-solving and professionalism to the business world. Through exploration and analysis of relevant business models, students explore ways of solving problems that commonly arise in business settings from small businesses to the corporate arena. Students complete 90 credits, resulting in a General Business AAS-T. The General Business AAS-T degree is designed as a transfer program for those interested in an applied baccalaureate degree and, in particular, for students interested in the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in International Business degree program here at North Seattle College. Associate Transfer Degrees: Two-year transfer degrees let you take your freshman and sophomore classes at Seattle Colleges for a fraction of the cost, and then transfer to a four-year university with the skills and confidence to succeed. Be sure to work with a transfer advisor at Seattle Colleges and the four-year institution you plan to attend.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students who will still be underage (16 or 17) by the start of classes must provide original and English-translated copies of their high school transcripts or a copy of their high school diploma. U.S. high school graduation with GPA of at least 2.0. Completion of both primary and secondary education in Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Canada (English-speaking provinces), Ghana, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. Completion of English Composition at an accredited post-secondary institution in Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Botswana, Canada (English-speaking provinces), Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. Completion of SCIE's College Bridge Level 5. SAT - 510 in Reading and Writing. ACT - 19 for both English and Reading. AP - English Language & Composition with a score of 3 or higher. AP - English Literature & Composition with a score of 3 or higher. IB - English Literature A with a score of 4 or higher (HL). IB - English A Language & Literature with a score of 4 or higher (HL).
