The Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist prepares students to design, implement, and secure computer networks. Students with this degree will be able to install security software, monitor networks for security breaches, respond to cyber-attacks, and gather data and evidence to be used in prosecuting cybercrime.Completion of this program prepares students for industry certifications such as CompTIA Security plus, Certified Security Professional (CSP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). St. Philip’s College is designated by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. The designation covers the academic years 2022 Through 2027.
