The Music Business Program at San Antonio College provides students with both an overview of the various aspects of the music industry and real-world, hands-on learning. Graduates of the SAC MUSB program are employed by concert venues, touring companies, talent management companies, recording studios, music festivals, and other media outlets that provide live musical performances to a private or public audience. Others have turned their new skills into a vibrant new Do-It-Yourself startup that promotes and manages music and entertainment talent. All instructors actually work in the industry and bring to the classroom a wealth of expertise from their respective fields. This unique learning environment prepares students for careers in the technical side of the industry or the business side. The Music Business Program at SAC is the only program of its kind in San Antonio.
