What will I learn?

The Paralegal Studies Program is part of the Administrative Computer Technology (ACT) Department which trains paralegals to work under the direct supervision of a lawyer. The Paralegal Studies department offers an AAS degree in Paralegal Studies. Students can attend full-time or part-time. Classes are offered during the day or at night. Many classes are also offered online.You will learn to - Prepare trial briefs, motions and writs, and to assist during a trial. Prepare legal instruments, such as wills, petitions, and applications. Conduct fact-finding inquiries and prepare written memoranda. Conduct basic legal research. Apply legal computer technology
