Games are enmeshed in social meaning, serving as vehicles of expression for both the player and the designer. Playing a meaningful game fires the imagination like nothing else and can open your mind to limitless possibilities. As a Game Design and Interactive Media student in the Associate Degree Department, you will be immersed in studio courses from day one. Our intensive programs deliver the same number and level of design courses as a BFA program in half the time by eliminating gen-ed courses. This allows us to give students a complete design education as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will begin with foundational art and design courses that set the basis for advanced courses in collaboration, production, worldbuilding, motion graphics and more.
