What will I learn?

The associate of science in chemistry program is designed to fulfill the needs of students desiring to prepare themselves for positions in a field of chemical industry and/or related areas. The degree can be used for the first two years of a degree plan for any of the chemistry bachelor degrees at SAU. Students completing this program will be prepared to fulfill positions in chemical industry that do not require a four-year degree.

Students must have official transcripts listing courses, examinations, grades, and marks from your high school or college/university.

For international students

Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all incoming freshmen Students.

Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)

A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL

A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL

A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL

A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS

A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)

A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo (Accepting Temporarily)
