What will I learn?

This program teaches you the scientific methods and principles related to preventing, correcting and reducing damage to the environment. You’ll get a scientific perspective on Earth’s environmental issues and an understanding of the relationship between human populations and the planet’s natural systems. You’ll learn how to apply the scientific method to environmental problems and understand how ecological and social systems interact. You’ll be able to observe, collect and analyze data using basic principles of biology and chemistry. This is a multidisciplinary program that incorporates the natural sciences. It’s designed to give students the basic skills to apply the scientific method while studying and solving environmental problems such as climate change, water pollution, waste disposal, habitat loss and more.
