What will I learn?

The Associate in Science in Biology for Transfer Degree is designed to prepare the student for transfer and is specifically intended to satisfy lower-division requirements for a baccalaureate degree in biology at a California State University. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, provides a strong foundation for transfer to a four-year university in order to complete a BS in Biology or related fields. It may also provide appropriate training for employment in biological laboratories, museums, and/or educational outreach.

Entry requirements

For international students

High School transcripts and Diploma; minimum of 2.0 or ""C"" grade point average, if transferring directly from a U.S.-based College or University.

Students under 18 years of age may apply, but must submit final transcripts showing secondary/high school completion before the first term of enrollment.

  • Proof of the appropriate Level Completion from one of our partner ESL Programs

Application Deadline: July 10 for Fall Semester; November 30 for Spring Semester and May 15 for the Summer Session.
