Entry requirements

For international students

Admissions into the Master of Science in Aviation Safety program is made on a holistic basis, two-step process. Students apply online through the UCM website; and all documents/materials are submitted to the Graduate Studies office, as per the instructions. After an initial evaluation, the application files that meet the admission requirements for graduate studies are forwarded to the Department of Aviation. The department will then review the application and make an admission determination.

In addition to the universitys basic graduate admission requirements, the following are additional requirements for acceptance into the MS Aviation Safety program:

A four-year bachelors degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university.A degree in an aviation related field or at least three years of work experience in aviation.
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.70 (based on A=4.00 scale) for all undergraduate work.
A Statement of Purpose describing your academic/professional achievements, purpose of continuing graduate studies, and future goals. The length should be strictly between 300-500 words.
Two letters of recommendations. They can be academic, professional, or a combination of both.
