Lehigh’s undergraduate major and minor in environmental studies is an interdisciplinary program available for students in the College of Arts and Sciences who are interested in environmental affairs from the perspectives of the social sciences and humanities. Consisting of 45-47 credits, the Environmental Studies B.A. major explores environmental knowledge through a range of disciplinary perspectives, with introductory courses in environmental studies and environmental science and then a concentration in one of three areas: health policy, planning & law and politics & society. Each of these concentrations allows for in-depth study of relevant environmental topics and courses designed to develop skills that prepare students for related careers.
