What will I learn?

With technology becoming an increasingly central part of most businesses, this Specialization is ideal for a wide variety of students, from aspiring Big Data Managers to future Electronic Commerce Specialists. Arguably one of the highest demand Specializations in the business world today, Technology Management is all about using computers, networks, and systems to deliver high value to customers. We will explore Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Sales Force Automation (SFA) Systems, Just-In-Time (JIT) Inventory Control Systems, and many more. The amazon.com business model will be explored front-to-back, from the webfront stores to the backend distribution warehouses. Indeed, students graduating with this Specialization should expect to be of significant interest to the many high tech companies in the DC area -- from Microsoft and IBM to Amazon and Oracle.
