B.A in World Cultures and Literatures

The department of modern and classical languages offers a M.A. in World Cultures and Literatures, the Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Studies, French, Italian Studies, and World Cultures and Literature (with concentrations in Ancient Studies, German Studies, Francophone Cultures Studies, Global Cinema Studies, Global Modernity Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies), a minor in Jewish Studies, a minor in India Studies, as well as minors and/or language instruction in 13 languages.The B.A. degree in World Cultures and Literatures is an interdisciplinary major in the department of Modern & Classical Languages. Students acquire expertise in a foreign language and cross-cultural communication skills through advanced coursework in foreign languages and world or area literary and cultural studies.
