A Bachelor of Arts in English gives you an opportunity to explore interdisciplinary connections between language, literature, and writing. Course work in the major covers the full spectrum of English studies as a disciplinary practice in the Liberal Arts. Students complement their experience by selecting from one of four concentrations, including Creative Writing, Linguistics, Literature, and Professional Writing. Our program is renowned for its collaborative atmosphere, in which faculty help students explore professional goals and intellectual interests. English provides an amazing variety of career paths and opportunities.
