The Bachelor of Arts in French is designed for students who want to enrich their lives with the in-depth knowledge of French culture, literature, and language. It is meant to encourage the dissemination of knowledge of the French-speaking world both on and off-campus, and to encourage reciprocal communication between peoples the world over. Students in this major can choose between two concentration: French Language or Language and International Careers (LIC). The first concentration focuses on the French language and culture while LIC is designed to integrate the study of modern foreign languages with international cultures, business, politics, and economics to prepare students for exciting, global careers.
