At Pace’s Westchester campus, the BA in Communications blends immersive, real-world experience with academic depth, preparing you for excellence in public relations, video production, journalism, and digital storytelling. You’ll refine your abilities in screenwriting, content creation, and media strategy, becoming the kind of communicator who can shape conversations and spark change. Our state-of-the-art Communications Center serves as your hub for hands-on learning, where you’ll use professional equipment such as HD cameras and editing systems to create video content and documentaries. Through internships with top media companies, such as NBC Sports, CNN, and A&E Networks, you’ll build a network of industry contacts and gain valuable experience. Students can also join Entrance One, our student-run PR agency, or participate in award-winning productions through our digital cinema and filmmaking classes. Pace Media Zone (PMZ) is a public relations agency and pop culture student club that hosts pop-culture and celebrity-oriented events, general meetings, and more. As a member, you will be introduced to the world of public relations through the dissection of public figures’ stories, scandals, and announcements, and you will gain experience handling public relations promotion for clients on and off campus. With a flexible curriculum and expert faculty guiding you, you’ll be prepared to excel in roles ranging from media production and public relations to social media strategy and advertising.
