At the academic heart of ASU, this program is part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the university’s largest and most diverse college. Its world-renowned faculty include 15 National Academy of Sciences members, 3 Pulitzer Prize winners and 2 Noble Prize winners. The Bachelor of Arts program in culture, technology and environment is a collaborative program offered by the humanities division in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Students take a humanistic approach to address issues surrounding: culture: approaching equitable and diverse global citizenship through the study of culture and language environment: addressing climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and environmental justice through the arts and humanities technology: bringing humanities thinking to the human and ethical challenges of a world shaped by technology Courses include studies in English, film and media studies, history, philosophy, religious studies, languages and cultures. Students also complete a core of classes that provide context and grounding, as well as hands-on experience in identifying challenges and developing solutions.

3.0 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.) Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
